Air Charter Service picks up top award in Russia

Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has been awarded the title of ‘Charter Broker of the Year’ in the third National Wings of Business Awards. The ceremony was held last Friday, February 22nd, at Izvestia Hall in Moscow, Russia.

The Wings of Business Awards were established in 2016 and recognise outstanding companies operating in the business aviation segment, from aviation brokers and air carriers to operators and ground service centres, as well as many others.

This year nominations were presented in 13 categories and the winners were chosen by a professional jury committee. The event is governed by the Russian United Business Aviation Association and is the highest accolade in the field of business aviation in Russia.

Sergey Vekhov, Sales & Development Director of ACS Moscow, collected the award and commented: “Thank you to those who chose us as the charter broker of the year. Our hard work over the past 12 months, and beyond, has paid off and we are very grateful for this recognition. Our first Russian office opened its doors almost 25 years ago, since then we have increased our presence in the region, with offices in Moscow, St Petersburg and Almaty, and I’m very proud of how much we have grown. We are hoping to grow all of our businesses further this year in, as we look to cement our place as the leading air charter provider in the region.”
