Private jet charters don’t have to be off-limits to our beloved pets. In fact, the number of pampered pooches and coddled cats getting to experience fur-st class service is on the rise. Bo and Sunny Obama

The White House

What do you call the animals belonging to the former president of the United States? First Pets, of course! As the First Pets of one of the most beloved First Families of all time, former president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, Bo and Sunny enjoyed all the perks that came with the White House (without any of the responsibilities). Not only did these Portuguese water dog pups take full advantage of their vast backyard, they also traveled with the Obamas on Air Force One – a fully customised Boeing 747-200B which is the president’s official mode of transport. Accompanying Obama around the world, these pets jetted from UN Summits to official state visits in optimal luxury.

Norman and Bambi Jenner

Owned by reality television star, makeup tycoon and social media heavyweight Kylie Jenner, Norman and Bambi Jenner are arguably the most famous pets in the world (according to Jenner’s 108 million instagram followers, that is). As the official “Queen of Snapchat”, Jenner frequently charters private jets when her business ventures take her out of her Calabasa mansion and, of course, Norman and Bambi follow in tow. These Italian greyhounds are as familiar with private jet travel as any A-lister.

The most stylish pups of them all belong to none other than Grammy Award-winner and pop culture icon, Lady Gaga. Gaga brings her three furry French bulldog babies on tour with her and often featured her oldest pup, Miss Asia, on her Snapchat account until her canine family grew. After Miss Asia found fame, pictures with Mother Monster were frequently uploaded on the dog’s personal Instagram account. Miss Asia, along with Koji and Gustavo, often shares snaps to her 248,000 Instagram followers while being pampered with doggy facials and travelling on private jets. Miss Asia has become such a fashionista that she even started to steal the spotlight from Lady Gaga, after joining her on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.

Detective Olivia Benson and Dr. Meredith Grey

International tours, private jets and membership of the most famous celebrity squad around: no, we’re not talking about the life of a superstar. This is, in fact, the reality of Detective Olivia Benson and Dr. Meredith Grey, Taylor Swift’s Scottish fold cats. In between cuddling with celebrity friends like Grammy- and Brit-award-winning recording artist Ed Sheeran and supermodel Cara Delevingne, the cats accompany Swift on her private jet wherever she goes. Both have become accustomed to living the high life, which they openly share on their social media accounts.

Pistol and Boo Depp

Pistol and Boo Depp found themselves in hot water when owner Johnny Depp nearly landed the Yorkshire terrier pair in doggy-jail. A source close to Depp indicated that he illegally flew them out of Brisbane on his route home to California – unknown to the privileged pooches, who were seen relaxing on board Depp’s wide-bodied corporate Bombardier Challenger 604 jet. Depp’s celebrity status didn’t afford him any special treatment and the pups were ordered to leave the U.S. or risk being euthanized. Luckily both escaped unharmed and are continuing their life on the run, in private jet style of course.
